Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market in Boston

    Full Day Guided Boston Tour

Meet your local guide this morning to begin a full day touring the Boston area.

Your first stop will be Bunker Hill. The Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775, was the first major battle of the Revolutionary War and predicted the character and outcome of the rest of the war.

Shortly after Bunker Hill, the Continental army laid siege to the city for month after month. Neither side gaining advantage. Until the night of March 4 when Washington quietly occupied Dorcester Heights, within cannon range of Boston and the Harbor. When the British awoke they were stunned to see 2000 troops and dozens of cannon looking down upon them. They had no choice but to evacuate or die and the

Continentals took control of the city in what was America’s first great victory.

Free Time at Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market

Later this afternoon, your group will have time to stroll through and browse the shops at Faneuil Hall Marketplace/Quincy Market. You will also have time to enjoy dinner on your own. This location is synonymous with world-class street performers showing off unimaginable acts of juggling, acrobatics and more for throngs of tourists and locals who gather to watch. The street performances that identify with Faneuil Hall were born with the Marketplace’s historic revitalization in 1976 and have been going strong since.
